v5.8.1 | Sat, Oct 24, 2026

Thanks for using Drum Notation by Beat Note!

IMPROVEMENTS

Exported videos now include the count-in clicks, even with Include Audio turned off. Lining up a video of your own performance with the export is easier: just match up the count-in clicks in the waveforms.
Already subscribed? If you tap Subscribe by accident, Beat Note now recognizes your existing subscription and restores it, so there's no need to worry about being charged a second time.

BUG FIXES

Fixed the count-in in Practice being invisible when notation is shown in black on a white background.
Fixed duplicating the last measure while editing a beat leaving a repeat sign on the measure you duplicated as well as on the new last measure.

Remember to check out the Beat Note roadmap under the Settings screen to learn about upcoming features and vote on user-requested ones. As always, thank you for your support. This update also includes general bug fixes and performance improvements. Have feedback? Tap Settings → E-mail Derek. I'd love to hear from you!
