Ability to add rhythm counting for any subdivision regardless if there's a note or not

I'd like to be able to add rhythm counting anywhere in the subdivision even if there is no note.
Some ideas include:
- Adding rhythm counts all subdivisions even if all notes are not present
- Adding rhythm counts to all notes and rests
- Adding rhythm counts in parenthesis for rests or non-note postions, e.g. (1) (e) (&) (ah)
