Loving the app, thank you so much. It is really helpful to work out the notation for my rhythms.
I am in a Brazilian Samba Percussion Group. Any chance one day in the future it could have a version for those instruments? High, mid and low surdos. Shaker, bell with high and low tone, snare, tamborim, repenique.

@AA Pracas I will rename this to be specifically for High/Mid/Low surdos.
Please create enhancement requests for any other percussion instruments you are interested in. Thank you! 🙏

Hello A Pracas and welcome to the Beat Note community! I'm sorry this request went unattended for so long. The holidays and new year were quite busy and this slipped past me. 😭 Thanks for your patience! ! Percussion instruments are definitely something I would like to include in the future.
That said, one of the challenges with adding percussion is how each instrument should be notated. We lack a general agreement on notation standards, and I would like to see Beat Note help us to move towards a standard.
My question to you is: how should each percussion instrument be notated? Specifically: what note head should be used and what line/staff position should is be placed on?
Additionally, I would create enhancement requests for each percussion instrument that you want to have. Let's use this one specifically for surdos. 👍🏻
I encourage you to vote for the following enhancement requests:
