Thanks for supporting Beat Note and sharing feedback about having a black notation on white background view. While adding a "light mode" color scheme to the app is an option, that would require re-skinning the entire app, which would be pretty time-consuming and require design skills that I, unfortunately, don't have (yet!). Therefore, in v2.7, I'm introducing "Reader Mode," inspired by a similar feature from the Safari web browser, which allows you to change the color scheme to black notes on a white background when practicing a beat. Tap the sun icon in the top right-hand corner to toggle this mode on or off.
I will create a separate feature request for a full application "light mode" to be considered in the future.
Thanks again for sharing your feedback and supporting Beat Note! Please let me know what you think of the Reader Mode and if there are ways you'd like it to be further enhanced. 👍🏻

Thanks for this feedback, Lake! And thank you for taking the time to check out the road map and make a contribution! 👍🏻 Another user has also requested this feature. I'll discuss with my designer what possibilities we can consider here. Re-skinning the entire app with another color scheme is a time-consuming task, so I appreciate your patience while I look into this and balance this with other app priorities. Feel free to contact me anytime with additional feedback. Thanks for supporting Beat Note!
