Duration of the open hihat
Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork)
It would be great If you could modify the duration of the open hats articulation, trying to make them sound even more real in terms of time and space, actually are sounding a bit shorter than in usual, just check them up, and if you need some help with it you just have to say it.
You’re doing great with this app, it’s growing and growing! 💪🏻

Also from Mark Banner: "It would be great for the app to play an open hi-hat sound that BEGINS at the note marked by an open circle (ie when the drummer opens the hi-hat with foot) and ENDS at the nearest subsequent note marked as the hi-hat foot (ie when the drummer closes the hi-hat by foot)."
I think this aligns with this existing request from Vik so adding this here for reference. 👍🏻

Hello Victor Valera (Metaldrumwork), and thank you for taking the time to contribute to Beat Note's online community road map! 🙇🏻♂️
This is a great enhancement request, and one I believe would add an even deeper amount of realism to Beat Note's audio playback. This is an enhancement I would love to implement. I've thought about how to do this, and the sound sample would need to be adjusted in real-time to lengthen or shorten it based on both #1) the note value (quarter note, 8th note, 16th note, etc), as well as #2) the tempo (60bpm vs 120bpm vs 180bpm and all possible BPMs).
I'm confident this is technically possible but admittedly is quite complicated. I've added it to my task list and will prioritize it appropriately. It's great it is also listed here for others to vote and comment on. Thank you for this contribution, and please continue to share your feedback about Beat Note both on this online forum as well as directly with me! We're on a great adventure, and I'm so glad you have decided to join me! 👍🏻
