Line up tempo of dotted 8th note timesigs with tempo of quarter note timesigs

I would love it if the dotted 8th note timesigs started working on the same base tempo as the quarter note timesigs. This would mean having the bpm control how long a quarter note is for all timesigs, even ones not based on quarter notes. as someone who loves weird time signatures, these timesigs being on a completely different tempo can make some grooves impossible to notate in the app without looping the groove at least one (for instance, there's a 21/8 groove i came up with that i wanna write down on here, but to do that i have to either have a weird pause at the end of the groove or loop it twice, both of which are inconvenient to say the least)
P.S. sorry for the repost, I realized my original post was in the wrong category so I deleted it and reposted it into the right category

Hi Larry,
I’m not sure if we have interacted before on here. Pleasure to meet you if we have not.
Can you please explain a bit more about the quarter note bpm? Maybe show us an example on paper? I sort of understand but still a little confused.
Regarding your 21/8: The first way I see this being resolved is when Derek releases some odd time signatures such as 7/8 etc.
Excited for your response. Once we understand your request a bit more, we can organize it properly.
