Why can’t you accent the kickdrum

Hi Derek,
Sorry to respond so incredibly late….
Great job on the road map I’m really looking forward to the 5’s and 7’s coming.
As to answering your question, essentially both are about volume, ghost notes are softly played notes.
What I envision in volume control is lets say a 5 point scale where the difference between ghost-normal-accent is 1 point respectively. And volume control would be baseline/ 1 point up or down.
Very basic mixer if you will.
ButI think it would create more of a balance when you playback the measure.
Keep up the great work ,
I really got spend more time practicing 🙏🏻

Hello APM Kokke! Welcome to the community and thanks for sharing your feedback! 🎉
Beat Note is a constant work in progress and I'm working to get all of the features in while still maintaining the simplicity and intuitiveness of the app. 👍🏻
There's already a feature request for accents on the kick drum and I can add your vote to that one here: https://beat-note.canny.io/feature-requests/p/accents-for-kick
For ghost notes on the kick, I've only had a couple of requests from other users and it looks like it didn't make it onto the roadmap yet.
You mentioned both ghosting the kick and adjusting the volume. Are you only looking for the ability to add ghost notes to the kick drum? Or are there other ideas you had regarding volume adjustments? And if so, could you please elaborate and provide more details about what you're thinking about?
Thank you!
