Challenge to re-create original sheet music with desired placements of rests

Hi, I’m new to drumming and sheet music so any help would be highly appreciated. I try to learn sheet music by re-creating my exercises in this app to listen to the correct rhythm. I try to enter 2 semiquavers that are followed by a 16 note each. However, the app does not automatically create the wanted result. See examples below. The only option I found out so far that comes closest to what I want was to place a 16th ghost note in between the 16th notes. Is there any other option?

Hey there Horst Drucker . Great question, thanks for reaching out here. I understand what you are looking for. The nuanced answer is yes, you can write and playback the rhythm correctly. However, it will display slightly differently for beat 3. (picture I posted)
As you might be aware, sometimes in rhythmic notation there are multiple ways to display the written partials. There are quite a few options! When applied to Beat Note, developer Derek has chosen which of these to START WITH for the display. He’s always adding and developing behind the scenes though.
In this case, your beat 3 will display the rhythm as: 16th rest - 8th note - 16th note.
That 8th note eliminates the 16th rest after (in your picture). Although it looks slightly different than the measure you want to transcribe, rest assured, the playback audio and display are rhythmically accurate.
Beat Note is always evolving based on community feedback, so this question actually influences the direction it will take in the future. Thanks for that!
We hope you are enjoying the app!
I’ll add this to a feature request and share it here so you can vote it up if you like.
