Feature Requests

Beats are currently sorted by which beat was updated most recently. It's difficult to find the beats that I'm looking for, but if I could sort the list by the beat name, it would be easier for me to find my beats.

This feature request is specifically for tracking snare drum buzz articulations. Here's the original request from @Jesse Rolland: I’ve expressed before that Beat Note has the potential to be amazing for strictly just writing Rudimental snare drum music. In fact that should be considered a major draw for younger kids in public school band and marching band. With that said we still need a couple more notations such as the rim shot and the buzz. Rim shot is an upward accent and the buzz is a “z” over the stem. Both of these are incredibly valuable on the drum kit for snare as well. Like they are almost as necessary as the flam (not quite though. Adding both definitely would make scrolling through the notations a bit more annoying but I think it’s necessary big time. In fact at this point it’s best practice to just hold the snare note for deletion vs cycling through the notations to delete so I don’t really see any negatives here. It would be great if we could get the flam, buzz, and rim shot trifecta package in the next update :). I may explode with pure bliss if do… Derek you are spoiling us with all of these amazing new features haha…

Would like to see the app notate tuplets/“grouplets” per generally accepted music notation standards For example, a “3” placed above a triplet, a “5” placed above a quintuplet, and a “6” placed above a sextuplet. Also, when there are 16th-note grouplets the app should place two solid bars connecting all of the notes within the grouplet/tuplet. I'd like to be able to add a cowbell instrument to my beats.

I can export the beat I've created, or a measure of the beat I've created, to an audio file (WAV, MP3 etc). I'm looking for user feedback to explore the following: What kind of file types do you want to export to? When exporting: do you only want the drum audio to be exported? Or do you want the option to include the click track? If including the click track, do you want to select the subdivision of the click? Do you want the ability to include a count-in with the audio export? If so, is one measure of count in sufficient? Or do you want the ability to have a two-measure count in? Are there any other configurable options you are interested in?

If I had added an instrument (for example, the floor tom), and then decide that I don't need to use that instrument in the beat any longer, I'd like to remove that instrument from the beat.
